The problem addressed in this study was the unpreparedness of students leaving Christian higher education institutions in the United States to engage, serve, and contribute to the common good of society after graduation. In response to this problem, this qualitative descriptive single case study explored graduate students' perceptions of the impact of servant leadership behaviors of the administrators, staff, and faculty at a private Christian university in the Southeastern region of the United States on their preparedness to engage, serve, and contribute to the common good of society after graduation. Greenleaf's servant leadership theory guided the research. Purposive sampling was used to recruit 13 participants to participate in one-one-interviews and a focus group. The data were analyzed using NVivo 14. The findings addressed four research questions about campus leaders' servant leadership practice, servant leadership behaviors, most impactful servant leadership behaviors, and their impact on graduate students' perceptions of their preparedness to engage, serve, and contribute to the common good of society after graduation. Graduate students viewed campus leaders' servant leadership as Christ-centered, student-focused, and community-based. The participants identified seven servant leadership behaviors: emotional healing, putting students first, helping students grow and succeed, empowering students, creating value for the community, behaving ethically, and conceptualizing. They considered emotional healing and helping students grow and succeed as the most influential servant leadership behaviors. They perceived that their experiences with servant leadership on campus have equipped, prepared, inspired, and motivated them to make meaningful contributions to society after graduation. Consequently, campus leaders should strive to exemplify servant leadership and serve as student role models. Future research should broaden the sample to include graduate students from Christian universities nationwide.
