This paper explores the role of gait analysis in improving stroke patients' rehabilitation experience. Stroke is a global issue that can significantly impact the quality of life for many patients. Due to stroke often leading to motor function impairments, long-term rehabilitation training is necessary to facilitate recovery. However, traditional rehabilitation assessments are costly and time-consuming, thus limiting patients' ability to fully recover. These limitations can lead to the inability to develop appropriate rehabilitation plans and misjudgment of a patient's recovery potential, which may result in the premature termination of treatment. To address this issue, this study investigates wearable technology as a potential solution for gait monitoring, providing a more accurate, accessible, and user-centered approach to gait analysis. These wearable solutions aim to track and analyze gait patterns in real-life scenarios, assisting therapists in developing personalized training programs while offering patients real-time feedback to enhance motivation and engagement throughout the rehabilitation process. Additionally, an app-based communication platform is proposed to facilitate interaction between patients, their families, and therapists, providing greater support and guidance for the patients. The ultimate goal of this study is to explore the application of technology in the specialized field of healthcare through design, ensuring the practicality of the product and improving patients' quality of life.
