Workplace Bullying (WPB) has become a significant organizational phenomenon and a central topic of discussion among scholars in psychology and management. Consequently, research has confirmed WPB's existence and produced substantial data on its adverse physical and psychological effects on employees' well-being. In contrast, School-age Bullying (SB) has been much more prevalent than workplace bullying. Globally, laws and policies to combat bullying have been enacted in academic institutions, mostly at the elementary and high school levels. Whether bullying behaviors end after high school or college graduation is yet to be fully explored. Studies examine WPB's influence on individual employees' psychological, physical, and psychosocial health and its impact on organizational growth. The literature has validated that workplace bullying negatively affects employees, witnesses, and employers in remote or non-remote settings. Consequently, this qualitative case study focused on workplace bullying from a management perspective, exploring policies and interventions to address bullying behaviors within public organizations in Jamaica. HR and administrative managers (N = 27) were included in this study, using homogenous and snowballing sampling techniques. Data was collected through individual semi-structured interviews and focus group discussions. Thematic data analysis revealed the themes of empowerment, catastrophe, systems, and risk management as supporting conceptual frameworks. The study found that conflict management, reporting systems, awareness, and clear policies and guidelines are crucial strategies for combating workplace bullying.
