The main focus of the study will be using product design and critical thinking as a method to reframe sexuality education for the younger generation in China. Chinese people have a culture of sexual shame, which makes it hard to deliver comprehensive sexuality education through a regular curriculum. However, HIV/AIDs is one of the common and work-in-progress topics today in China. The project starts with the topic of sexuality education and ended up realizing that bringing sex as a common topic to talk about, not only giving knowledge but also creating an atmosphere where people can talk about sex will be the best way to achieve sex education. So the study will be creating a series of products to firstly invite the couple to explore and understand their bodies, secondly to create a better and fun communication experience for the couples, specifically about non-penetrative sex pleasure.
