Medical device design is one of the most important and most promising fields of industrial design. Medical devices, which were once designed by doctors, technicians and other people, who usually use such devices, have become insufficient in meeting the needs of today's. In this respect, design of such devices and methods, which are used in the design process, comes away as main topics, which have to be carefully undertaken.Product design methods have the capacity of solving the problems of medical device design field, as they have in many other fields. In this study, the ways of applying these methods into the medical device design process, especially in home care medical device design, are going to be examined.

520 $a Tibbi gerec tasarimi, gunumuzde, gittikce onem kazanan ve en cok umut vaadeden tasarim alanlarindan biridir. Gecmite doktorlar, teknisyenler veya tibbi gerecleri kullanan dier kiiler tarafindan tasarlanan urunler, gunumuz ihtiyaclarini karilamada yetersiz kalmaktadir. Bu acidan bakildiinda, bu urunlerin tasarimi ve bu surecte kullanilan yontemler, dikkatle ele alinmasi gereken konular olarak karimiza cikmaktadir.Urun tasarim yontemleri, dier bircok alanda olduu gibi, tibbi gerec tasarimi alaninda da, uygulanmasi halinde, verimli sonuclar dourabilecek niteliktedir. Bu calimada, soz konusu yontemlerin hangi acilardandan ele alinabilecei ve hangi urun tasarim yontemlerinin tibbi gerec tasarimi, ve ozelinde, ev tipi tedavi gerecleri alaninda uygulanabilecei incelenmektedir.
