The project director serves as a church planting catalyst with the International Mission Board in Buenos Aires, Argentina. One of the key tasks in missions is evangelism. This involves personal evangelism and training other believers to evangelize effectively. Effective evangelism requires contextualizing the presentation of the gospel to reach the target audience while remaining faithful to share the complete message of the gospel. The project director identified the need to train and equip a select group of members from his home church on the mission field, Iglesia Evangelica Bautista (IEB) Rey de Paz, in how to share the gospel more confidently by telling the overarching story outlined in Scripture. In chapter one of this project report, the project director explained the background information that led to the creation of this project. He also identified several ministry objectives and laid out the parameters of the project.Chapter two reflects a biblical and theological study of two key passages related to evangelism. The project director exegeted Matt 28:18-20 and 2 Cor 5:14-20 as the foundational texts informing the project. These texts reveal the need for a holistic approach to sharing the gospel that ensures the hearer understands the whole story of redemption rather than just parts of the story. In chapter three, the project director conducted a literary review of resources related to evangelism in a postmodern context, the role of worldview, and the role that the grand narrative of Scripture plays in sharing the gospel. The project director conducted a literary review and discovered a compelling argument for the employment of a story-based approach to evangelism. Through this research, the project director successfully identified the four main worldview questions and the four major plot movements of the biblical story. This research informed the project director as he created an equipping module to train a select group of church members. In chapter four, the project director described the implementation process of the equipping model. The project director enlisted an expert panel consisting of four mission leaders serving in various parts of Latin America and asked them to evaluate and provide feedback on his research and the equipping module. He taught the module with the select group of church members and used a pre-test/post-test evaluation tool to measure the project's effectiveness. In chapter five, the project director presented the results of the project by providing analysis and evaluating the project's effectiveness. He based this analysis on the personal and ministry objectives he previously identified. The project director also evaluated the strengths and weaknesses of the project and reflected on his experience related to completing the ministry project.
