Health professions education has historically been provided in silos, with little interaction between disciplines. Increasing demand for students to enter the workforce prepared to practice collaboratively has increased the need for pre-licensure interprofessional education. The objective of this Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) scholarly project was to implement an evidence-based interprofessional education event at a college of nursing. An interprofessional education workshop was provided to senior-level nursing and radiologic science students comprised of learning activities designed to address all four Interprofessional Education Collaborative (IPEC) core competencies. The Interprofessional Attitudes Scale was administered to participants before and after the workshop to evaluate changes in perceptions of communication and teams/teamwork. The project demonstrated a statistically significant improvement in students' perceptions of teamwork and patient-centeredness in IPE following the intervention. While there was a slight change in scores regarding interprofessional biases after the intervention, the results were not statistically significant.
