The purpose of this study was to explore what extent compassion fatigue is experienced by core interdisciplinary group members in a Florida hospice organization. The core interdisciplinary group members included the physicians, nurses, social workers, and chaplains. The participants were asked to complete the Professional Quality of Life (ProQOL) version 5 survey and a demographic questionnaire. The results indicated that the interdisciplinary group members had an aver-age to high degree of compassion satisfaction. The results of burnout and secondary traumatic stress were average to low in degree of compassion fatigue.
