The current study was used to examine for a linear relationship between emotional intelligence and authentic leadership in law enforcement supervisors. Based on the study results, a statistically significant relationship between the variables was not determined. However, the current study was used to highlight and reaffirm the importance of the theoretical paradigms in leadership training, especially in the highly complex and dynamic field of law enforcement.
