This study explores the affect of an individual's work ethic in organizational contexts. The study investigates information technology (IT) employees' work ethics affects on computer use ethics, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment of business organizations in a multi-faith environment. The study also examines the virtue ethics theory in an individual IT employee's personal characteristics in organizational business decision-making scenarios. In addition, the study addresses the need of pre-employment screening and ethical training programs in business organizations. Based on the research model, a set of hypotheses have been developed for testing using data collected from a Web-based survey. The collected data have been analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM). A mediation model was developed that was based on theories and findings from published studies. The model was analyzed using SPSS and SPSS-Amos version 22. The path analysis explored the interrelationships' effect between one latent variable constructed from five items of an individual's work ethic measurement scales and three observed variables. The responses of three observed variables were transformed into interval scales to meet SEM assumptions. The goodness of fit values were utilized to justify the model of this research study. The study concludes with the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis, HA, of the omnibus research question. The acceptance of the alternative hypothesis indicates that there is a statistically significant affect of an individual's work ethic on computer use ethics, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment of IT employees in business organizations in a multi-faith environment. The study reveals that IT employees with higher regards for work ethic virtues tend to have negative attitudes towards unethical organizational computer use, high job satisfaction levels, and high organizational commitment levels. On the contrary, IT employees with lower regards for good work ethic virtues tend to have positive attitudes towards unethical organizational computer use, low job satisfaction levels, and low organizational commitment.
