The main purpose of the study was to investigate and predict the behavioral intention of non-traditional students to attend language training programs in continuing education. The research framework was based on the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) to identify the most influential component to that affected the behavioral intention of non-traditional students to attend language training programs. This research study used two questionnaire instruments.Subjects--Topical Terms:

Based on 441 valid samples, the main findings were as follows: (1) The theory of planned behavior successfully predicted the nature of the behavioral intention of non-traditional students who intend to attend language training programs in continuing education. (2) The results of this study showed that there was positive significance for the non-traditional students regarding their attitude toward the behavior, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control. (3) The strongest variable to predict the behavioral intention in this study was attitude toward the behavior. The Pearson correlation coefficient measured that the attitude toward the behavior did reached the significance level of p < .05, indicating a strong relationship between the attitude toward the behavior and the behavioral intention. (4) The second strongest variable to predict the behavioral intention in this study was perceived behavioral control. The Pearson correlation coefficient measured that the perceived behavioral control did reached the significance level of p < .05 and showed a strong relationship between the perceived behavioral control and the behavioral intention. (5) The third variable in this research study to predict the behavioral intention was subjective norm. The results of this study showed that the Pearson correlation coefficient of the subjective norms did not reach the significance level p < .05. Therefore, although there was a correlation between the subjective norm and the behavioral intention, it did not reach statistical significance.
